We moved in mid-November and have had a great experience living here so far. All the staff have been super helpful and kind. The resident activities hosted by the leasing office have been especially wonderful. We’re very happy and look forward to making this our home through the next year.

The building has its problems … most of them you already know. However, I love the apartment layout, the amenities and the proximity food, entertainment, and the city. Just keep the hot tub open and the the hallways clean and I’ll be happy.

Great experience so far things are always clean, staff seems accessible, havent needed any repairs fortunately. Only complaint would be due to the venting system if someone smokes indoors the whole building, which happens a little too often for my liking. Overall good experience.

The maintenance staff at MacCommons is amazing! The staff at the leasing office, not so much. The leasing staff is unresponsive to emails, and there have been instances when a leasing staff told me, "it wasn't her job," and that I should contact someone else on her team.

MacCommons is a pretty great place to live. Quiet, yet with lots of activities; while still in the heart of the Temescal neighborhood. Close to breweries, bakeries, and eateries with all the other amenities that make a good neighborhood great!

they just want your money, and they will change your lease options to ensure they get the best terms for themselves. on my day of move-in, I was attacked by an unhoused man and was forced to defend myself due to lack of security. No concessions on rent were made. other problems include: -Amenities broken, dirty, or otherwise unusable without rent concession -Super high utility costs that DOUBLE CHARGE for trash, water, and heat -Disrespectful communication with and treatment of residents (as apparent through constant emails from management blaming residents for community shortfalls) -Lack of a professional cleaning of apartment prior to move-in -Glaring lack of parking, and absolute refusal of management to assist in this regard. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS PLACE IS PROXIMITY TO TRANSIT, and that’s not even affiliated with the complex. Do not move here. It is a scam.

Before we fully moved in you closed the pool indefinitely. That was 95% of the reason my wife and I decided to live here while our house is getting renovated. On top of that the shower leaks and there have been several items we have found that are not fully installed the right way. So struggling to find the joy in living here.

Thefts are occurring in the package room. Packages sent to me from Amazon have been taken. I spoke to the i spoke with the building management and they could not come up with a solution. Considering considering how much rent I am paying, it is crazy that the building cannot offer safe delivery of packages sent to me. i would like to hear from other residents of the building who have had the same problem. Right now, anyone living or working in the building can go into the package room, and if there is no one in the room, they can take as many packages as they like. Thank you Edith Hillinger

As a resident, it's so frustrating communication with leasing office management team. I had a minor issue with conservice bill 45 days ago and i communicate with leasing office from "one and half ago" more than 5 TIMES through e-mail, phone call and 3 time physical attendance to the leasing office. Regarding to the e-mail and phone, i didn't get any response back at all from the related person who was supposed to be the assistant manager and everyone in the office send me to assistant manager who is really unresponsive and doesn't have any commitment to the resident to resolve the issue. After 45 days, the issue still exist and no one in the leasing office take the responsibility about it and i just keep hearing the excuses from this office.

The people in the leasing office are rude and very unprofessional. As well as the “security. They do a horrible job of protecting both the parking garage and the guest parking. My car has been broken into twice. Just the other day I was walking my dog in the guest parking lot and I saw 2 men trying to steal a car.. I went right to security and told them immediately and their solution was to walk out the front door at a snails pace and then swear at them as they drove off. My response was “don’t we have cameras shouldn’t you call the police” to which he responded “no there is nothing else I can do” so what do we pay all this money for each month because I know it’s not peace of mind. Also the fire alarm has gone off after midnight 3 times.

I didn’t know how much I would enjoy living at MacArthur Commons. It’s wonderful meeting fellow occupants in the hot tub, talking to people in the elevator, and having access to the gym. I am very happy with my decision to move in.

My experience has been largely positive. The amenities are great, especially the gym (except for the long wait time for machines to be repaired) and the skylounge for working. The staff is helpful, maintenance and safety are friendly and prompt. Several months ago I was told I was next in line for a parking space but since then I’ve heard nothing from staff. I wonder if the space was offered to a new tenant instead. But this is moot, as I no longer require the space. Overall I’m glad I have rented here. There are areas for improvement of course but this is a nice place to live.

The elevators are continuously out of service. The hot tub & grills are broken. We need more community fun events a lot of other apartment complex buildings in the area have those type of initiatives

Building is very clean and beautiful. Modern decorations and styling very nice. Feel safe in general thanks to the key fob checkpoints at every entrance to the building and to the elevators. Generally pretty quiet. however, the alarms... Complaints: The alarm has been going off by accident many times in the last few days, even last night in the middle of the night which disrupted my sleep. Please fix faulty alarms asap. Thank you.

Easy living at MacArthur Commons. Apartment buildings are clean, secure, and near both public transit and good bites. Highly recommend that residents take advantage of the amenities, nearby bagel shop, and local breweries.

I enjoy my apartment here at the Maccommons. But lately I’m upset about the cleanliness of the building not the front of the building but the back stairwells and the carpets. The fact that the elevator stays broken for weeks at a time. And I wonder if they will ever clean the building exterior windows? Probably not. These are the things to think 🤔 about when it’s time to renew your lease….

Apartments are bright and comfortable. Great location. The pool and hot tub are excellent. The only thing I would change is to get rid of the valet trash services, not that it’s bad but just an unnecessary extra expense.

It's a great place to live but very pricey. I was told my rent was going to be $1750 but I'm paying up to $2600 a month. the amenities are great - I just don't find myself using them.

Move-in was easy, the apartment was clean, the staff was helpful, the neighbors are nice! We sat in the hot tub on our first night and made a friend. We swam in the pool and it was warm and enjoyable. Love it here!

Building very clean and quiet for the most part. Stylish decor in lobby areas and feel very safe and comfortable. Mary is awesome and very nice attentive and helpful. Only complaint perhaps is not being able to opt out of trash valet.

I enjoy living across Bart and to my surprise it's really quiet. Great amenities to utilize, and it's very clean and fresh smelling. I also like that there is security, this allows me to feel safe at night when I come home from work. Great place to live at. The plus also is that there are so many great restaurants within walking distance.

The building always smells like urine and weed, occasionally garbage. At least the fire alarms haven't gone off much recently though. The free coffee machine doesn't always work :-(. If that's all I can find to complain about maybe it really isn't all that bad.

I’m happy. The apartments are nice. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rent is relatively reasonable. Amenities are getting a little crowded. Gym is a little too small to support this many people. I wish I could swim later. Trash is expensive. Some amenities seem weirdly closed, like the A building rooftop.

I love this building but the only issue I have is that the building stairwell #5 needs to be monitored and cleaned regularly. People take their pets up and down the stairwell and sometimes they use the bathroom in the stairwell and the pet owners do not have the common courtesy to clean it up.

Building very clean and pleasant with nice decor. Soundproofing could maybe use more improvement as I can hear noises from people living in apartment on floor directly above mine. Leasing office never answers phone calls even when all staff are visibly and physically present but this is not an issue anymore for me as I now live here but could be for people looking to start contract to live here. Security of building is good. Overall good experience and I feel safe and comfortable in the building. Kitchen appliances very nice.

I’ve been living here for now three months and it has been for the most part enjoyable. There are times were communication with the leasing staff as far as getting a timely response via email or when calling has been delayed. However when I do get in touch with the staff there most helpful and the majority of time my concerns or questions are addressed.

The community is nice and fairly clean. Moving in was a super easy and streamline process. Favorite part of the community are the lounges and provided beverages. I wish they would add additional beverages such as juices. And other drinks. Would recommend all around.

The rent is reasonable compared to other apartment complexes with similar amenities. Proximity to the Temescal corridor is a plus. Although, being close to the highway can be noisy at times.

The overall process was quick and easy. Staff has been friendly so far. Maria has been super helpful and guided me through the process all the way. The only hiccup I encountered was getting through the line via phone calls but I know they get busy. Showing up in person seemed to work better.

the apartment looks great and the location is fantastic. having a pool, gym, etc are appreciated ameneities. however, shutting the pool down at 9pm is ridiculous. and i was under the impression the gym would be open 24//7 it is not.

Building is very pleasant and clean. Amenities are great. Right across from Bart Station. Only complaint is that the cost to use the building's own parking lot is quite expensive and not already included in what we are already paying.

The community is maintained well, Service Requests are responded in time, the Leasing Staff and Management is Excellent! Community is amazing! Everyone has been so welcoming and friendly with moving help and recommendations. Move-in process was somewhat messy and confusing, with lack of communication between main office folks. Would love to work with other residents on how we can help smooth out the process.
